I have a 150 lb kin with a split 1/4" wide and 3/4" long and maybe 1/3" deep. I've had it for a week, and have a fan on it 24/7. The pumpkin is still slowly growing, but growing. Can I fill this split, leave it alone, or do something else with it. Any suggestions, thanks!

Don't fill it-let it breathe. The cracks on the surface look scary but usually aren't fatal.Keep it dry and maybe put a little fungicide on it.The splits in the blossom that can be game over start internally and wont show until theres a hole in the pumpkin.

RIght, Blossom end splits occur overnight, they are heartbreakers. I don't think what you have is going to end your season.

Thanks for your replies---feeling better about my split. Big City---my split/crack does not look like yours---mine is just next to the blossom, not going thru it. Joe, what fungicide would you recommend to apply?
