AND not damage it of course. I think it sounds like a bad idea to me but I need to move the pumpkin out a couple of inches. Seeming stem stress. Having trouble moving it.

I would use a wide long strap wrapped around the back of it with at least 2 strong people gently pulling it the way it needs to go.

I just used a heavy duty tie down strap, one of those 2" ratcheting type, then drive a heavy duty steel T post in the ground and hook one end to the very base of the post right at dirt level and have one guy holding the post upright while the other person ratchets the strap ,it'll move very easily and most importantly controllable, oops forgot to mention I had my pumpkin growing on a board so I just drilled a hole to attach the tie down hook .

Next year put it on two paper mill sheets. You can pull the top sheet or the pumpkin easily as they will slide over the bottom sheet.

LOL, I grabbed my little bulldog of a wife to help move the 2106 at 38 days... you'd be surprised what 5'2" can do!

LOL, bout once a week is all I can find her in the patch. Like how you never see anyone cutting grass in a cemetery. You know it's getting cut, you just never seem to catch them in the act =p
Her ninja outfit was in the wash is only reason I caught her that day. Hope you got it sorted out bud!

Thanks for all the advice and encouragement. I watch Bubba's video and moved it 2 inches all by myself. That was the goal.
