Just wishing all NW growers good luck with the Arizona like weather coming our way this week. 4 days over 100° with 2 day around 110°!!!!!! Hopefully we'll see you on the other side!

We went multiple days straight over 100 and hit 108. Shade and mist the plants as much as possible. I only lost a couple I was trying to pollinate. Another guy a couple miles had some that were growing well slow down, but DID NOT abort so it can be done. It's based on the entire plant, not the just the area of the pkn. Good luck

Whidbey Island

After having the average low of 54 and high of 66 for the month of July, I am looking forward to a bit of heat, but not that much! I'll be happy if it hits the mid 80s like it did today. The smoke from the fires in BC is sure bad, however.
