Hi! I have a secondary vine growing really close to the stump (prob 6-8" away) and I was wondering if it's safe to cut off this vine? I can post a picture if needed.

Is the vine causing a problem? If not, let it grow, set roots, leaves to collect the sun and feed the plant. Otherwise, I guess you could cut it off.
