On Sunday we received 6 inches of rain here in Maryland, followed by 1.25 inches on Monday. I'm not sure how this will impact my pumpkins.

Fayette County, Iowa, 2 counties north of me has some to spare. They had 40" in the past 30 days. Southern Iowa has had less than 4" in the past 3 months.

Three and a half more inches and we'll set a new record here in Central New York. Plus we have five more month's to go in the year. 53.32 inches so far, record 57.09 inches. Farmers are really hurting as the crops are way behind. Good baled hay will be very high priced.Than again, there won't be much as it rains 24-7 and most is making heifer hay or bedding. Hey chop, was in a tent in Lowville for 3 days during the early July deluge so I know what your talking about!
Haven't had to water patch since mid June and we need some sunshine and some HEAT. Whiskey works good for me!

I'm sick and tired of the rain and humidity. Finally cooled down today but no sunshine. More rain expected tomorrow. I've only watered the upper side of my garden 2x so far. Two plants in the lower part of the patch have not been watered yet. Ridiculous!!!
