Any recommendations on how to use this stuff? The directions say 1-3 tablespoons per gallon of water but in a continuous feeding program should be diluted to 10% of the normal rate. Any thoughts?

Need more info, how are you watering. Do you have tanks, or some other way.

"Finisher"... that is the important point, to me. It's high in Potassium, and that is what is doing the finishing. The question is, when do we switch to finishing? I would think that we want nothing of the sort until about the 1st of September, or maybe even later? Right now we DO NOT want finishing. But I'm hoping someone will give more detail.

Rick- I am employing the time honored tradition of an oscillating sprinkler. I only have two plants and have multiple elevated areas to sit the sprinkler to broadcast the water. I replaced my sand soil last year with black dirt and compost. Holds water much better. I also limed it and scattered gypsum in the spring. I have been using compost tea weekly and have buried the vines. All seems well and my two fruit are growing well, 1 2 weeks set and another 3 weeks set. Both are just past beach ball size, maybe 50-75 lbs. Haven't taped them yet. Just thinking it's time to grow fruit and stop growing vine. Also just started some foliar calcium.

I agree with cliff, you don't want to over do the phosphorous. Find something with more potassium and all you need really is to spoon feed it. Don't want to blow it up. How are you watering in your ferts. I have 275 gal tanks. I mix everything in and drench ferts that way. The plant will slow down when the kin gets bigger. Keep up with vine burying, you need that rooting. Don't forget humics, helps plant uptake nutrients.
