Hi John! Is that a statement? or a question? Ha! I'm looking forward to seeing these 3 patches, and visiting with OVGPG growers and all the guests who join us.

We are looking forward to showing everyone our new patch!!!
Hotdogs, Brats, chili for dogs, chips, cookies, watermelon, on the menu. We are a little short on chairs so if you have one bring one if you can. This time we have plenty of parking that is not on a hill & hopefully Lee & Glenn won't show us up to bad!!!!

John, don't worry, we will have cookies and brownies at the Zappas' !!!
The Zappa patch is doing well this year, with one pumpkin in particular, doing extremely well. We have 4 pumpkins, one squash, two melons, some tomatoes, and as always, the giant head sunflowers to look at. It will not be the prettiest patch, as the weeds are relentless this year. Overall plant health is great. Come on out everyone for the first stop on the tour. Feel free to stop out a tad bit early if you want to chat a little. Lee Zappa

Wow, what a day! Great weather, great friends, and great food, topped off with some big pumpkins! Can't get any better than that!
Big thanks to Lee Zappa, Dave and Carol Stelts, and Glen Orr for opening their gardens to us, as well as the entire crew who organized the tour.
Learned a lot today. Learned I'm not the hardest working guy out there. But knowing is half the battle, and I'm ready to drop the clutch for that next gear baby!
See you in October all!
