My 2307 is 14 days old and put on 14 lbs in the last 24 hours,,, but I walked out this morning and had a blossom end split. I did put some 0-0-50 and cal mag on last night. Do you think this is the reason it split or just happened? Thanks

If your not blowing them then your not growing them. Split was most likely gonna happen-have you gotten recent rain.Water surge is more likely to do it

I've blown them with 0-0-50 even at low gains. I don't use that stuff but a touch in the soil early if my soil test says I need it.

I did the 0-0-50 and then gave it a good watering in. It's so late now and this is the only fruit that would set on the whole plant and it was on a secondary, may just pull the plant and get ready for next year. I've never blown one before, pretty bumming.

I'm no expert pumpkin grower 493 but after 3 years of growing I can tell you it's a game of rite thing at the rite time and I don't back off on anything any more if it looks good I push it if it blows up well that's more time enjoying a cocktail with mama

Orv grows em big because he spends all season trying to blow them up so he can have more cocktails with Mama.
