Anybody know the ratio for Eagle 20EW/Water for AG's? Specifically how much per gallon of water? I'll be spraying from my 4 gallon backpack sprayer. Thanks much.

I use 2.5 to 3 ml per gallon. I just sprayed my mater plants last night and don't see any ill effects. When you spray pumpkin leaves you have to watch out for puddling effect. The mixture may not be that strong but if it puddles and the water evaporates it can cause leaf damage.

Wasn't sure what this stuff was and just read up on it. Is this stuff the fungicide of choice and should it be used preventively or after there are signs of fungal problems? How do fungal problems typically present themselves. I'm growing in Wisconsin sand country but took out most of my soil(sand) and replaced it with black dirt and compost.

You should always approach fungicide as a preventative application. Once you get powdery mildew you really can't kill it off just stop it from spreading. Eagle 20 is many growers top choice for prevention powdery mildew. Other fungicide is needed in rotation to treat different fungal infections, many of which are soil related.

Puddling...If you spray heavy on a leaf the solution will run sometimes pool in spots on the leaf where there is a depression or ridge to catch the runoff. When I see that, I just give the leaf a little shake. I use a handheld pump sprayer that does not always spray nice. It seems I get puddling a lot. Eagle is a great fungicide but it can cause leaf damage if applied too strong.

I applied at a rate of 1/2 tsp per gallon and it's to strong. Some of my leaves look damaged. I think the Eagle 20 hurt my plants a few weeks ago, not round up.

I use Eagle20 at 2/3 tsp/gallon. It doesn't matter the strength of the mix if you load the leaves like it rained it is too much with about anything we spray. Been there with spraying damage. I think it is more the application than the mixture. I used to use 4 gallons for what I now cover with 1.25. hope this helps good luck
