I am not sure, but I think my Weibel plant has Bacterial Wilt. It started with a few young leaves on a very healthy side vine, now almost all of vines have it. The young leaves start to wilt and discolor by getting darker from the edges of the leaves inward and they are now starting to curl from the edges inward. Also. some of the wilting is right by my second pollination on this plant. I am not sure what to do, please help! : (

Bacterial wilt is like a pumpkin heart attack. all the leaves wilt in a day and never recover. Pics are helpful. Only a tissue test can say for certain though.

Only the young leaves that are near the end of the vines are wilting and even when the temps were in low 70s in the morning back on Monday they were still wilting. I will take pictures tonight and how should I take a tissue test? thanks.

couple of my leaves got hit too, Sun burn, darkens the edges curls them and stunts them also has the too much nitrogen look but its sunburn. I mist in the mornings and the afternoons to prevent, even cover the leaves at times. I noticed too when I know its going to be real hot I early morning spray copper fungicide, seems it acts like a sun block. Can't hurt!

If I did that with copper fungicide it would kill my plant. I took out both of my heavy plants this year sprayed at 430 in morning temps high 90 during the day cooked them both. I pulled the last plant this am never could bring them back.

Then what would the leaves look like when they get burned by to much copper?

I don't know how to post a link but in my diary july 5 86th entry. The leaves are stunted growth yellow brown. Some puckered up and looked like they had a virus. I think it caused the cells to explode. BUT if used in the evening it worked great on my mold pm problem. I would agree that its probably sun burn. I will email some pictures of my sunburned plant tips.
