I posted in my diary a picture of a crack on the main right after the pumpkin. I sulfured the crack and wrapped it with rubber wire used for tying plants to stakes to keep the crack from opening more. If I keep it dry would the pumpkin be fine or should I set one on a secondary.

Pumpkin will be fine. You could cut the main right off after the pumpkin if you want but if it heals completly set some backups. If it does not heal then pull it off.

Mgawel, I would leave it open and get a fan on it and a cover to keep it dry

I would also leave it open to dry... it will be fine. These plants are amazing and it will heal. Good luck in Scranton.

I have good news and bad news, bub. The good news is the below was grown on 10 feet of only side vine after being cut from the main vine by day 20. It also has the Ron Jeremy of stem splits compared to that dink split you posted.

The bad news is I don't have anymore good news. You are good IMO and I hope you break 1k.
