Every time the weather service predicts storms, I'm getting nervous. You got hit all those times and just 33 miles northeast as the crow flies. The Alburnett area had fields flattened by hail 17 miles west. When the tornado that hit Prairieburg was just 12 miles to the northwest, there were 2 more 18 miles to the southeast. Earlier this year they had tennis ball size hail just 8 miles south of us. I just wonder when its going to be our turn. But at least your pumpkins are still looking great, way ahead of ours.

I will defiantly keep fixing it, I can almost guarantee I would have nothing left if it weren't for that screen, don't miss the old snow fence at all!

Material is getting pretty brittle in spots, got 1400 ft of rope going in every direction hoping it will not let the wind play with it. Spence told me about batten straps, those will be a must next year

I ran the seams on the screen material on a sewing machine, believe it or not it went really quick. Put 3 runs on each seem, SOLID. Holding up great for years with heavy duty upholstrey thread. On the radius ends I used crimp hog nose fastners. I simply slip the whole thing on & off each season & store it away. I never use a ladder to install just a 8' push pole and a couple clams, heck on a windy day is when I install it, Wind does most the work!

Dang it Pete. We were watching the All-Star game and they were showing those storms on radar building north of you and sinking south. We were hoping it would miss you. Its hard to imagine how many 60+ mph winds you have had. I'm glad you didn't have any more damage. At least the 9"+ rain they had in Clayton County missed you.

Now for round 3,4,and 5. I ever score another greenhouse, iam going to make 2 smaller screen houses, mine is just to big. To much area for the wind to grab

Will do Dan, the gust that came through the patch and the neighborhood last night was 85 mph, still in awe that it held up, should have put ropes over it from the get go
