I would think the pollen is fine as long as it is dry and did not get wet. IF your asking if a stressed plants pollen is better then one that has not been stressed I do not know.

I had my whole garden nearly wiped out by a flood on June 30 a few years ago, only one plant survived. I was able to get one self pollinated by mid June, it was over 700# by Labor Day, but a mouse wrecked it. So I would say that the pollen would be just fine. And if it puts out a female flower, it might be OK too.

I meant to say mid July pollination, 2 weeks after the flood.

It will be fine. I used pollen from a plant that had been pulled for a couple days. Plant had just enough energy to develop a couple males out of the pile. The seeds from that cross produced the 1578 Holub.
