I've seen that before.... don't know what it is but I will have to save every time I seen it on a plant I was never able to get one to a weigh off

They send out roots at the node where the pumpkin forms. Maybe it's an ingrown root, kinda like an ingrown hair.

I've seen it before. I don't think it's a root because I've never seen any branching. Looks more like an umbilical cord, lol

Ive seen it before-don't know what its called either-its never good when youre looking into the center of the stem

I have seen it in many pumpkins. I believe that most of them have that at that size. No Idea what it is though, besides stringy pumpkin flesh.
