Big City Grower (Team coming out of retirement )

JACKSON, WISCONSIN. ; )

With the main vine terminated at the stem? Is it worth my time and effort? I do have a nice strong secondary behind the fruit set actuall the 2 behind are running strong they both have females on however they will open in about 5 to 7 days... input ideas etc I've never grown one this way and I really am going into no mans land with this situation I have. Thanks
Oh yes fruit set is about 14 feet out with a about 500 sq ft of plant behind it and her steep is getting very large

Pretty sure John Hawkley grew either the 2002 or 2058 with a terminated main at the fruit. I think it's a perfectly good practice especially when dealing with a stubby stem.

The last time I talked to Steve Daletas I asked him about Eddy's fishing trip to Yellow Dog Lake. When I asked him where Yellow Dog Lake was he role me, "It is just north of Brokeback Mountain.". I have no doubt that Eddy knows who has stubby stems.
