Subject: terminated vine

I checked my plant this morning. The tip of my main vine was broken. It looks like someone stepped on it. I suspect that a nosey neighbor might have visited it and tramped around the patch. There was a nice female flower about to open a few inches back from there. I'm not real happy right now.

Just let a secondary after your pumpkin grow as the main,you could still pollinate it

Jody, pollinate that pkn just b/4 the idiot came around...if you can. & then train a good secondary to go forward, for a new main & pollinate on that one too, if you can! Keep the faith & put up a fence!!! Maybe, since your main is snapped, you should let some early tertiatiaries (spelling bad...third vine growth) grow to refill the patch? & buy a good spotlight or shotgun to deal w/ neighbors?
