I've been looking through plant pictures this year compared to years past and I have to say most plants are looking great.
I think our sport has come a long way and I can't wait to see how everyone's year turns out.

Second worst start I have had in 8 years, and my plant is still 15 feet out now. I can't actually blame myself though, plant threw the ribbon vine so it had to be reset to the first secondary as new main.

15 feet out isn't bad! plus if you're like us the next week of weather should be a good time to set a pumpkin.

Mine are about a week behind last year. I set up the hoop houses in March to get the ground warmed up, but May was unusually cool. Then June started hot and dry. But the plants are looking good. Now the cucumber beetles and squash vine borers have showed up.

jake, it's not too bad, but because I trained a secondary as the new main the tertiaries were a bit delayed to fill in as new secondaries. It really took off this week and things are looking good.

About 17 feet, had one at 12 feet abort, but plant was too small regardless.
Steil Field pkns and "pancake" varieties doing really well.
Grow em big

First year in several that work is being done on a daily basis...mostly due to the twins. Plants looking bestest! One plant has had problems, but seems to be recovering. Will be pollinating soonly!! Peace, Wayne
