Found egg clusters yesterday...rolled em off the leafs, sprayed w/merit 75wp. Did I catch them in time? rick j., any idea who sells replacement lure kits for svb traps? Also...mix rates for Merit 75wp, or Talstar pro...into 2 gallons of water would be appreciated!!! Peace, Wayne

a little merit goes a long way, 1 tsp per gal of merit. not sure what talstar is. 1 oz has worked real well when i add it to 275 gal tank, merit can be used as a contact also but you should go light when foliar.

I've got squash bugs. I have been using Monterey Fruit Tree & Vegetable Systemic Soil Drench every month.

Will scraping the eggs off of the leaves be the end of them, or will they survive, and reattatch? Peace, Wayne

SVB's don't lay clusters of eggs, those would be Squash/Sting bugs. When you scrape the eggs, get them out of the patch, flush them, torch them...they will hatch under most circumstances.

Also, Wayne make you a note for next year...Generally if you see one egg there are many many more. You should start spraying for bugs I have learned that being proactive is much better than being reactive....good notes help me with being proactive.

Thanks all, & the twins are taking extensive notes! Will my spraying of Merit 75wp, and talstar pro, kill the egg clusters? Peace, Wayne

Negative Wayne, scrape and remove is best practice. Your Merit and Talstar won't be effective until post hatch.
