Yellow vines come from a few different things. 1.Genetics 2.Nutrient Deficiency or Excessive Nutrients preventing proper uptake to the plant 3.Cold Cool Weather 4.Wet roots 5.Yellow Vine Disease

I think Yellow Vine Disease spreads at a very fast speed, if I remember correctly in just a day or two

Linus has it right. Some genetic lines, especially those with great orange color have yellow vines. # 2,3 and 4 can all be related. Nitrogen deficiency causes yellow leaves. Cold wet conditions can leach nitrogen out of the soil, excesses of other nutrients can tie up nitrogen. If disease doesn't take it out soon and your leaves don't turn yellow, don't worry about it. Just don't over apply nitrogen. It will make the plant grow vines and leaves and abort the pumpkins.

Looks like herbicide damage. YVD turns a whole 14 foot secondary a bronze color leaves and all in like 2 days. Then your pumpkin stops putting on inches a few days later and you know you're done for.
