I had one at 33' that ended up at 1007.5 in 2015 and one at 28' in 2016 that weighed 1336.

I've grown a mile out before.... a pollination on Aug 3rd 2012 at 45 feet plus. It grew to 500 before it split around 43 days old. It was my only option after 10 plus aborts due to consistent 105+ temps.
I'd go with the 18 before 20. lol
