Has anyone got there plants In the ground here in Nova Scotia? It's been cold and wet. I'm hoping to get a few planted in the hoop houses tomorrow.

I put mine in the ground 3 days ago, they survived the cold weather last night. I put heat lamps in last night and all is well.

I'm taking a gamble too. The next two days are supposed to be nice so they're going in the ground.

I see your 1910 is looking better than mine, I planted it but have another in with it, so I have a chose later on.

I decided to keep the 1910 inside for another while. It was half the size of the others so I'm not in a rush to get it in the ground.

I have three in the ground. Had to pull the 1374 Engel after seeing the roots were unhealthy from all the rain and mud. I built a mound a foot high and now an 890 Dill and 444 house are neck and neck for the 150 sq. foot contest. A few days ago I planted a 1143 Engel under a cold frame. Already trying to lay down. Patch has really dried up nicely.

Been planted outside for 10 days. Yes Jody 1356.5 is my PB for at least another five months. Release the Kracken for that 1812. Mine is hungry as well!

I am sure the two boys from the east side can muster up something better than 1357 with all their magical potions!

Seedsower, I'm guessing your 1420 Larue didn't pop, hope I'm wrong, like your picks this year. Funny, maybe not, that three of us tried the 1910.

That's awesome John in the Ground by the 1st week of may.My nerves are shot hope mine survives the cold tonight.its 41° outside and and 59.7° in the hoop house.
What's your line up in AGS?

No Andy, my 1420 LaRue did not germinate it just rotted. I just loved the shape and colour of the 1910 but the cotts, first and second true leaves just molted, turned white and died.

well Kenny wants to put that 1356.5 in last place for the record book so away we go:)

I've got two 1910s growing very simular. Cots were deformed on both plants. They are starting to look alot better but they were off to a rough start. If it wasn't for the genes I would have probably culled them. Who knows they might produce monsters.

I couldn't have picked a worst day to put the plants in the ground! Heavy frost last night it went down to -1. I haven't opened the hoop houses to check on the plants yet but the thermometer is saying it's 13.8° degrees in there. Hope they are ok.

How did you fair this morning Jody?
Have McCracken's, Hoelke's and Werner's growing. What are the chemical brothers growing to update the record books?
