1578 Holub or the 1844 Holub? i have them side by side, so no room to wait for femals.

1844 has green locked in. The 1578 doesn't. If the 1844 looks like a good plant, and green is the goal, that's what I'd go with.

same chance in both seeds. same type of cross: selfed seeds from a green offspring coming from a squash/pumpkin cross. With same quality of seedlings I would go with 1844.

Equal chance: They will both be green.

My bad I was confusing the 1578's potential for the 1060 because at times I'm an idiot. They are right, both will go green but I'd still choose the 1844

I would try to contact Scott himself. At Niagara that man had green genes down to a science.

Cindy and Benny have it right. I think both 1578 and 1844 should throw vast majority green.

Yes the 1578 and 1844 both have an equal chance. Both come with great genetics and should produce very nicely. But as HaydenR said I would still choose the 1844 Holub over the 1578, in fact I have.

Can I throw my choices in for the same question?
1195 Holub or 1401 Jutras? Best chance for green, go...
