I found this sprinkler system online. I thought that it could be a big help in my patch. If I am at the beach during the day when it's hot I could just set a time I would want it on, think it would be just what I need. Even if I were at home I could turn it on. I would probably still have to water with my hose to get a heavy water but I wouldn't have to go out to my patch every hour on a hot day to water. This could do the job for me on a hot day. This would limit how many times I have to water with my hose. I would probably only have to go out and water with my hose 1 time a day to get the soil wet then I could turn the sprinkler on to keep the leaves nice and wet and the soil moist. Here is the link check it out. Let me know what you think.

I would recommend going over to homedepot and getting everything you need individually, you can buy everything in the kit for 50-70 bucks save some money.

It's really nice having timers, definitely a good investment

As long as you have good air circulation(keep weeds under canopy down) plenty of early morning sun light (drys the early morning dew which is mixed with sugars your plant excreted during the night) fungus thrives on the humidity and sugars, and keep your fungicide program going, if you do all of these you'll have a low shot of getting pm... these seeds are becoming more and more resilient of pm as the genetic line gets better.

I've read and believe powdery mildew is actually reduced by overhead sprinkling, because it washes the spores off the leaves. The actual cause may just be actual dew (condensation) on the leaves, because of low night-time temperatures / high humidity, combined with a susceptible plant.
