Hot dam!Here we go again folks!...this is The Official sign-up for the 2025 Zeke Demars Tomato Team Challenge!!!!..A quick recap as I think most of us know about the contest. Make your own team and compete in the Open Division which consists of
Teams of three, your two best GPC entered tomato's each, for a team total of 6 fruit.. Or sign-up as an individual and enter our "Team Draft” division where you have the chance to be teamed up with some of the best tomato growers in the world. (Many growers in this contest are willing to help you!)…Track your progress and teams stats throughout the season as the leaderboards change. Basically If you are growing giant maters for competition this season, this is the free contest you want to sign up for. Not sure of the prize structure yet but the trophies alone are worth the price of admission.
First and second place in both divisions,
State record plaque for biggest take down of a state record. Some kind of toilet award(I woulda won that last year),
And of course, the main prize. The "Cup" ….for the top single tomato weight for the entire contest. This Top Dawg trophy , which goes to the winner, has been traveling a little over ten years now and has been cemented in giant tomato history when it was presented to our 2024 winner Rick Jolivette at the GPC Big Show in Green Bay this past winter.
It's pretty much the Stanley cup of giant Mater growing ..and dont hold me to it, but I believe the trophy may be again presented at the big show this coming year….Who will win it this season? I dunno, but it'll be fun to watch y'all go after it! Good luck!!. We'll solidify the teams and pick draft names the first week in july. A late start for sure, but my seeds just popped up ya Frickin cheaters!
