I did a little math & right now it looks like a 2 man race & it is tight with 2 pumpkins officially weighed.
4,327.5 Steve Daletas 4,213 Josiah Brandt
A difference of only 114.5#'s, they both have one more to weigh so will be very intriguing to see how this plays out.
Any one else who can join this battle for the GOTY?!?!?!?! How about those Paton boy's!?!?!?!

Hi Dave
Wait for the patons. I think they have one pumpkin left to be weighed. And this could be a very huge one.. maybe new wr???

Steve might surprise us again in the next couple weeks.
What a year he's had! Steve was telling me about the runt in that patch that tapped 1300 pounds. When he finally weighed it last week it went 300 plus pounds heavy!! So 1600 plus pounds, !!
Josiah, wow and the Patons depending on their next one might seal the deal!:)

Musta been adding your watermelons up by accident ;)
Wasn't trying to be critical, sorry if it came across as such. I got to put two of the three on the scales so 2005 and 2416.5 are still pretty fresh impressions... I checked the 2027 because I simply couldn't believe a 436" pumpkin went over a ton.
Really enjoyed getting to know him a bit better over the last couple weeks, just wanna give the man what he earned. It seems every pound might just count this year!

Down the stretch they come & with 2 in the barn for the year & 2 that have 1 left to weigh this is the closest finish with multiple growers I have seen. The 4 horsemen have put on a show for all of us & I thank all of you for all the hard work to set you up for such an exciting finish!!!!
6,437 - Karl Haist 5,982 - Josiah Brandt
4,504 - Ian & Stuart (needs 1,934 for lead) 4,327 - Steve Daletas (needs 2,110 for lead)
