Just for those who are worried about chlorine in your city water. They make test strips that you can test how much chlorine is in your water. A pool store may carry them.

i use the boogie blue filter to remove both. i buy a new one each season with good results.

Some test strips will give you total chlorine and free chlorine. If you subtract free chlorine from total chlorine it will tell you approximately what levels of chloramine is. If im not mistaken chlorimines are chlorine and ammonium added together.

Hi growers, Cozy how many microns is your boogie blue filter?. I use a 5 micron filter and it is recommended too remove 90% of the chlorine.. I guess there lower micron filters however like Wizzy is saying then going too loose flow rate?..
