With the record set last year at 2624 when do you think we will see 3,000 this year or next, or are we 3 years out. I think we will see it this year or atleast 2,900. Can't wait!!

Call me a contrarian if you'd like, but I don't think the current world record will be broken in the next 3 years. The bar has been set high.

Mark my words we will see 3000 within 3 yrs. The 2328 was crazy big and we thought it would take years to grow bigger. It out another 300 pounds on the current record. The 2624 put 300+ on that. Continuing that path we would be at 2900+ in three years.

unless pap dresses as waldo for some of the diary pictures we see this year.

100% sure on 2700 this year if pap dresses as waldo and ron is able to find him. (that may be tough from how tall the pumpkins are going to get too)
otherwise it may be a tight race world wide

The tooth of the matter is this.Wether you like it it not.The weather plays a big roll in this.The Big ones will start getting bigger in the northern cooler spots.Not sure when but we will get to 3000 lbs.I see a Canadian record coming soon.or northern Europe.Maine has a good chance also. Its going to get hotter in many areas.Thats the TOOTH!!!

I think we are about to see a surge of growers going indoors or more Controlled environment to make that push to 3,000.
