Tennessee Valley Fair in Knoxville has decided to go GPC in 2017! Pending GPC approval the date will be Sept 7, 2017.

There will be premiums for the 7 GPC recognized classes.
In addition there will be a premium for some less common classes:
Beet root (heavy)
Bell pepper (heavy)
Cantaloupe (heavy)
Carrot (heavy)
Celery (heavy)
Corn (tall)
Cucumber (heavy)
Cucumber (long)
Marrow (heavy)
Onion (heavy)
Potato (heavy)
Runner bean (long)
Sweet Potato (heavy)

Add something a bit different to your patch this year and then join us in September.

Most details are ironed out pending getting sanctioned.
Premiums for:
10 AG's plus a bonus for largest squash
5 Watermelons
3 for each of the other GPC classes
1 premium for each of remaining classes.
Exact premium amounts yet to be nailed down.

Weigh-off should start around 2. We have some wiggle room on start time so input is appreciated. This is the main receiving day for all the horticultural displays.
