We would like to thank Ken Desrosiers of BigPumpkins.com and all of our generous growers that donated their fine seeds to make this auction possible. Your contributions are greatly appreciated by all of us!

When bidding, please keep in mind that you are giving back to the “Giant Pumpkin Community” and that the proceeds from our auction will help fund our 2017 Weigh-Off Prize Payout and will award growers like you for their time and dollars spent in the “Pumpkin Patch”.

Please remember and understand.

Due to very unfortunate circumstances, Barnesville had to cancel all of our scheduled auctions last year.

Therefore, we generated $0.00 dollars on auctions last year for our annual weigh-off.

Because of these circumstances and we are very short staffed, we have permission from Ken D and have paid Ken D for his services to hold these "mini" auctions on his bp.com website.

As we are extremely short staffed, we have a very difficult time in handling the workload associated with a "full blown" auction. They are a lot of work and quite time consuming if you've ever been involved.

So, we try to run "mini" auctions to handle the workload.

This series of events has set us back and it will take some time before we catch up.

We hope the above facts help you with a better understanding of our situation.
