this will tell you if your seeds are good
on amazon for cheap works great and i've weighed 1,000 seeds with it and battery has yet to quit on me....

the drop test works but this works best... you can see out of hundreds of seeds those which are the best.

.3 g or less is a dud
.5 g or less is weak
.6-.7 g is average for a very dry but viable seed
.75 + is the best though and the biggest dry seed I've seen is about 1 g.

Warning of potential hazard: Don't let your non-pumpkin obsessed partner see you using this scale.
