I recently received a bubblepack containing my (and many other’s) most desired seed, sent from a very generous grower. It’s one of three seeds I know I’ll grow in 2017. So I thought. The bubblepack went missing. It’s possible that I was burgled by another Massachusetts grower who entered my home and stole one pumpkin seed, but not likely. The seed lived in my refrigerator vegetable crisper and only came out when I’d bring it to the couch and look at the seed packet. Kitchen to living room, nowhere else. I ransacked my own home looking for it. Very Twilight Zone.

If you lived in Wisconsin and hung out with some of the growers I do.. they would have done it... no doubt broke in stole the number one seed then give it back to you..

Thanks for the suggestions all. The seed was still in the bubblepack, I lost the whole bubblepack. As for what seed, too embarrassed to say; I'll stick with 'most desired seed'.

It wondered too close to the dryer and it ate it. It does that to my socks and underwear so a bubble would be like a snack to it. Although it could be that darn vegetable drawer. I always told my wife that vegetables are dangerous especially if you have any asparagus or okra in there.

Like bnot mentioned, I would suspect your wife. Maybe she has it and you will find it under the tree on Sunday morning...from Santa. I am not growing this Summer due to the "pumpkin widow". Now she is begging me to grow just so she can shoot it with her pistol to blow it up with tannerite. Seriously.
