I've been drying out some seeds and one set of seeds in particular a lot feel and seem solid but have faded to a white-ish color as they dry out with a few remaining that tan or brown color. Its like the color faded out as they dried. Any ideas if the ones that faded are going to be any good? Is there a test other than starting a few to give me an idea if they are any good?

you can do a drop test to see if they sound hollow.

Go ahead and try to germ a few, thats the best test.

I would agree w/WiZZy...try test germination on 3 of each...white-ish & tan or brown. It's the only way YOU will know for sure! Peace, Wayne

I spread them out on a screen. After a few days, when they are dry. I blow a fan straight down on the seeds. Most of the empty seeds will blow off the screen
