I was thinking of getting one and would gladly take any suggestions to point me in the right direction. There are many options with a wide price range to choose from so any advice is appreciated.

Anything by Accurite...Walmart. I have two and they've worked very well for me.

I've been using Davis Instruments for over twenty years. Problem is they aren't cheap.

I've got an Oregon Scientfic model that I have several remote sensors for...love it...works great. They've got something for everyone's budget.

I like Davis instruments weather station. My weather station monitors everything from outside temp to soil moisture.
