what a fantastic few days my wife,ron and i experienced the last couple of days in that city that never sleeps.
i was most certainly honored to represent the gpc on national tv.
i would be remiss however if i did not thank some very deserving organizations and people for making this experience special.

to dave stelts and his gang of gpc volunteers for initiating this special trip several years back

to andy wolf and staff for their gpc stewardship these past couple years.thank you guys.

to the botanical gardens management for sponsoring this great event

to the kelly show and staff for showing me such a great time. (kelly really does love the giant pumpkins)

in closing i would just like to add that we growers would be in a sad state of affairs be it not for our great pumpkin commonwealth organization.without them? there would be no funnel through which all results and records are passed.
they are most certainly the glue that bonds our hobby together. without that? no structure,no grand stage,less communication and certainly no opportunity to meet such wonderful folks like ian and stu paton,the martins,mike schmit and list goes on and on from there.
