The 748 that I grew this year was between 95 to 100 days old. With the location of my garden, that's probably the best I could do.

90-100 days of growth is pretty much the max we have experienced over twenty-seven years of growing.
thats pretty much the growth cycle out doors (weather?)

not sure if greenhouse growers get a better growth life than that with a controlled setting?
many things yet to be discovered and/or applied to this wonderful hobby.

For sure Pap! We have to keep pushing the Sport any way we can. Was your 2261 done growing?

Jake, assuming this is days after pollination? I have always read 60 days of plant growth, followed by 90 days of fruit growth...which has obviously increased since I read it!! Peace, Wayne

The 1539 I took to Ferichs weigh off in Rhode Island this year was 112 days when cut and loaded. Not sure I will try for that long again.

Was it still growing Bart?

Not sure if it was still growing but if it was then it was very slow. Best guess is about two and a half pounds per day. I like to measure so it was hard to wait 10 days between measurements.
