We close on the new house Friday and I want to till, add amendments and get my winter rye started before Monday. I know adding to much at once isn't good so I wanted to see what I should amend now and what should I wait till the spring to add. I plan on adding 5 yards of compost and the shredded fall leaves for the OM plus the recommended lime.
The soil sample from my diary http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryView.asp?season=2016&grower=70975&action=L

Your soil looks like its in pretty good shape. Try to ensure the lime is "dolomitic", which is the form that contains magnesium, as you Mg levels are a bit low.
While your high organic matter will provide a good source of nitrogen and sulfur, you'll want something a little more readily available to ensure a robust rye stand. I'd recommend adding Ammonium Sulfate (nitrogen and sulfur) as a broadcast before you till and seed.
