Hi, my pumpkin is growing on a slant and I need advice on how to measure it (side to side).
Do I measure it over the top, straight up-and-down?… or do I measure it on an angle being that the pumpkin is growing on an angle?
My pumpkin kind a looks like up upside down flying saucer… But here's a link to the picture. Any help would be appreciated very much.
Thank you Joe

Yes, over the top. In the current position the over the top data SS and EE are smaller than in case of an upright standing wheel, but this will (at leat in part) get some compensation from the CC measurement, because in the current position the widest CC parallel to the ground will be wider than in case of the upright standing wheel.

What ever you do, just remember the place you taped, jiffy marker and next measure use the same exact placement then you can judge your gains

Joe, I think that the rules of OTT state that you measure side to side, (Parallel) over the top, at the largest measurement you can get? Not positive? So, stand at one side & look, then measure over the high spot. & as Eddy said...measure the same SS every time you put the tape down!! BTW, Kul lookin pkn!!! Peace, Wayne
