damario, I am not sure if anyone will agree with me but your plant looks like herbicide damage, not a virus. I had herbicide drift from a nearby field once and my plant looked exactly like yours.

Don,id put my money on mosaic virus. He can get it tested for either. When plantd get mosaic bad the leaves will look just like that. His earlier picture shows a leaf with a classic mosaic mottling.

I've seen similar damage posted on BP where the lab test came back as Roundup over spray, and other examples where the result came back as Potyvirus. Two independent lab tests should clear things up.

I lost a whole patch again this year to confirmed mosaic. I'm sure Matt D. will chime in as he's also a master at getting the dreaded mosaic virus.
Its definitely mosaic but does resemble round damage.

I will also agree on Mosaic. I was just about wiped out this year by a type of Mosaic. The yellow fruits were mottled with green, while the green squash were lumpy on the surface. They got worse as they grew, and the new leaves progressively got worse.

Doesn't he know if any Roundup was sprayed around him?

I don't think mine was roundup. It was a broadleaf herbicide of some sort. Mine did not affect the fruit in any way and gradually the plant improved. I agree that damario's probably is mosaic virus. I've never seen that and hope I never do. Hope damario can find a way to defeat that.
