Anybody have some tips on how to get a pumpkin that has slowed down growing to pick back up again?

KRC, not sure what to do, but would first need to know what started the slowdown? Any ideas? Too much rain, bugs, diseases, stepped on main vine? I also have had a slow down, which seems to be recovering a lil bit, due to so much rain here in W. KY. I will continue to feed, and hope for the best. Peace, Wayne

A tissue test could give you an idea what to add. Sometimes it's genetics, and you can't do anything to perk up the plant.
Heat also slows pumpkin growth down. Anything over 90 F and the plant/pumpkin goes into siesta mode.

i suppose there are always exceptions to any rule but once a pumpkins growth starts to slow its very difficult to expect it to climb the ladder again. and- as noted by krc --- in his particular case the fruit slowed for a legit reason. pap

Yeah a bug bored into the stem and down into the kin.
I still have 2 fruits though on other plants.
