Curious what people use. I want to find a good fertilizer injector under $150 that would work for fertilizer injection to an overhead sprinkler.

I use an EZ Flo. My impression is that its not very exact, but they are affordable.

If you want one that will do the job and last for a good while id get a dosatron if i were you. Maybe ask around any local strawberry growers, they nearly always have spare injectors and they might just lend you one

i use the ezflow but wish i had purchased something else. Unhooking the lines, unscrewing the top, adding the good stuff and then topping off the bottle is somewhat a pain. I would prefer one that i could toss everything into a five gallon bucket and let the injector suck it out. My next injector will probably have a more accurate way of metering too.

I picked up a Dosatron just as the Canadian dollar was tanking two years ago. Saved some on the exchange. I figured it should last a long time, and I don't have much patience for unreliable items that waste time. The Dosatron doesn't.
Stick it in a pail and open the valve. It's so simple but bulletproof. I sometimes just watch it click and get jealous of the guy who invented it...he's probably at his beach house with his feet up.

Tried one of those 10 dollor miracle feeders it works? Take out there liquid out of there bottle pour your kelp meal humic acid whatever it works, if your dosatron broke or your cheap like me try it, it works and it clicks like the dosatron does.

I use this: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-Shipping-1-2-Irrigation-Device-Flowers-Venturi-Fertilizer-Injector-Kit-Switch-Water-Tube/32639662478.html?spm=2114.30010308.8.3.ywPocp it's the same principle as the miracle grow feeder. While it's difficult to accurately inject a precise concentration you can do a little experimenting with the flow rates to get it right. That said I'm not a big hitter that anyone should be taking advice from...

I suck the fertilizer blend out of a 5 gallon pail. lets you blend a variety of fert's in a lower concentration. I go through a pail every two weeks based on my watering sched.

The Venturi injectors work well but when you change water flow rates it sometimes changes the ratio. I water anywhere from 1 to 5 plants at a time and could never get it to work quite right for all the variations in flow. Now I just turn it on.
