I've got a vine with 3 pumpkins set on it and I've yet to determine which one to leave and which ones to cull. My first one, about 8 feet from the stump is about soccer ball size and I have already cut the leaf and secondary and have started to reposition it. Just wondering about the next 2. They are only about a week old. Do you guys cut the leaf and secondary soon after pollination or do you wait and for how long??

I like to wait till I'm sure the fruit is set before I cut the leaf and secondary( that's day 6-20). I try to put a curve in the vine a day or two before the pumpkin blooms. If the leaf is going to rub on the pumpkin I push it out of the way with a bamboo stake.
