Four gorgeous plants, each allotted 1000 sq ft, 60% filled in, 2 pollinations on each main. Heavy storms today, wind fence worked great, but leaves sustained hail damage. 15-20 pea to dime sized holes per leaf. Kinship were covered, so they are fine, vine tips appear undamaged.

How much will this amount of leaf damage affect overall potential?

I know what you are going through. june 22 last week we had 115 mile an hour winds for 10 minutes straight. we lost two big FBI buildings 40 trees, and almost all farm equipment damaged in some way. My plants were big green and full of life. after storm I went out to see what was left. plants were flat to the ground, wind fence gone and my Christmas tree plants were now in a straight line to the south east. now a week later new growth most leaves that made it through have came back to life and I have since made a couple pollinations. I did apply fungicide because plant injury invites bacteria. Give it a week and things will look better. good luck

You can check my 2014 diary and what happened on June 30. My one surviving plant ended up with a pumpkin that was close to 700# by Labor Day. It would have gone 1000# if a mouse hadn't eaten a hole in from the bottom.
