We had it here on Friday and again Sunday. My outside plants lost all their females and a few secondaries but will recover. Pollinations will be delayed. The Greenhouse plants were fine.

South of Buffalo

Bill, it was a close call here in west Seneca, 1 in hail just south of me in hamburg. We had heavy downpours and wind with sideways rain. Its been either cold, insanely hot or windy the whole month.

They are predicting hail, wind and heavy rain for us tonight. I went out this afternoon to bury vines to hold them down if it blows. We could use some rain. Just have to take our chances with hail. Hail protection is not in the budget.

2 1/2 inches of rain but no hail here last night. More rain last night than we have had the last month and a half. needed the rain. You can keep the hail!!!
