Im sure its been done many times.What is your goal?Im sure a back vine will grow a 1700 lb plus kin.Secondary's will grow them that big also.

roger back in the day everyone grew a full plant and did pollinate on the back main. over the years we have had improved success with more traditional christmas tree methods. with a full plant you must plant seedling in the middle of patch-with xmas tree method you can start on the edge and run in or middle of garden ( back to back if you wish ) and run to the outer edges of patch.
