memorial day is a great time to honor and reflect on friends,family and veterans.

over the years it is this weekend that has created the most memories for me.( i remember as a young boy riding with my grandfather to the veterans graves in our area-placing flags at each stone )

to our pumpkin growing community the world over i say thank you to those that served.

to my grandfather frank c sharron who served in ww1 i say "god bless you-i will never forget"

If it wasn't for our military and many sacrificed lives our Country would not exist. Remember that at the polls this November. Lives were sacrificed for our freedom. Imagine the families that had to endure the knock on their door and the information that followed. My hat goes off to all who have served and especially for those who gave their lives so that we could enjoy ours. God Bless America and God Bless Our Military. USMC 1968-1970.
