When should you spray your plants with insecticide and fungicide for the first time. Will it hurt a young plant.

I use garlic powder while they are in the hoop house as an insect repellant. No stress on the plants.

If you haven't used any merit, You need to start spraying before the time the cucumber beetles first show up. One day of cuke beetle damage is too much.
