Yep,my 8.47 did that.just try to keep it somewhat dry and it should be fine.

hey...james...never give up...i should post the picture of the one that couldnt handle the outside..and wilted completely...i pulled it out by the stems..and pushed it directly into the raised bed carrot...the strong in that carrot, might suprise me. By the way..the raised bed carrot...had a very hard first 4 months...it is still going. For all the bad environment...it is my only raised bed outdoor carrot.

Sounds like too much fluctation between wet and dry. Not sure if all weigh-offs accept split carrots.

Ok ived got a few more carrots, I think its the rain, it never rains so as it rained it split a bit, , ok thanks everyone
