is wondering if I've lost my mind or if I fell and smacked my head on the sport court. She sees me with the pumpkins continuously, hears me talk about them like they are my offspring and I believe she thinks I'm having an illicit cucurbita affair. Should I be seeing some sort of a licensed giant vegetable therapist?

Just tell her. Slow your roll baby I'll be back in the fall. They mean nothing to me. It's just a fling. as you hug her looking out the kitchen window to make sure the ground hog or the wind isn't damaging the pumpkin plants and the sun isn't wilting them to much.

My wife tells me that I know more growers names than I do pro hockey and baseball players, and I live in Canada.
I just tell her that growers are professionel too, they just don't make as much mony!! lol

In the end, if you remember simply they are just pumpkins, there should be no problems. There are certain days that are not national holidays, that she has to understand are more important to you than Christmas, Easter and your birthday. That day for me is weigh off day.

You've definitely lost your mind. This is not a recovery group though. Just like minded individuals. We've all lost our minds. Most of the time I'm OK with it. Wives can be very logical, she is just concerned for you. A friend and his wife came over the other evening. She couldn't understand why I would build a greenhouse for a pumpkin, yes just 1 pumpkin. She repeated herself several times. It's not for growing food, just 1 pumpkin. Logic has nothing to do with it.
