i planted five seeds forteen days ago, all 2015 seeds all socked for two hours, same treatment all the way. one came up the secound evening, the last one came up forteen days later!! well the one that came up in two days,! vine grower faster ? well the fruit gain weight faster ?

Hard to tell. How fast a seed sprouts has little to no correlation to how big of a pumpkin it can grow. Less mature seeds tend to sprout slower, but genetically can grow just as well. Double plant them side by side and let them grow out a little more and see which ones are looking best and then cut off the non-keepers.

I've never worried about germination time, just whether it germs or not.
