I don't know if we have any growers in the Fort McMurray area, but I'm watching the news right now and it looks really bad. I hope everyone gets out safely.

88,000 people evacuated today, State of Emergency was called Ironically Fort Mac should only be going through spring thaw and have snow on the ground. Our whole province is VERY HOT and dry. I know where I am, we have had just over an inch of precipitation since Feb 1st

Scary indeed, the largest hotel in town destroyed, the RCMP Detachment gone. We have a friend who's son works in Fort Mac, lost everything including his home. It's like Joplin Missouri, only fire is the culprit this time.

Just unbelievable. Thousands of people are in need of & shelter, clothing & food. Our thoughts & prayers go out to all the people who lost everything to the fire.
